what we have here is a mcd/cd from Germany's FINAL EFFORT
you'll get 7 tracks of modern hardcore
it has influences from the 88 style but wrapped in a modern thick production and played with alot of passion/sincerity
like STRETCH ARM STRONG,THE MIRACLE MILE,MODERN LIFE IS WAR and bands like that did.
listened & owned records of the bands mentioned before so to me this was a nice listen,it's a good record but here you have some sort of biography to convince you
"formed in 2008 in Leisnig,guitarist Oliver and bassplayer Sven decided to achieve a new project
it should be the first band for the two
the intention was to combine melodic driven riffs and powerfull rage riffs
and so they got their ideas into shape...
After awhile bassist Gregor and drummer Jan made the line up complete and another influence came to light
with Jan's preference to play fast songs and Gregor's hc-punk roots FINAL EFFORT was born
it didn't take long till a number of shows were played and first experiences were collected
Early in 2011 they recorded the 7 song debut "drowned and resurfaced"
given the fact that Oliver decided to leave the band,a new guitarist had to be found and so Felix entered the stage
While FINAL EFFORT playing shows all over Germany they keep on writing new stuff to release an E.P. at the end of 2012
